Projects

Discover the impactful projects supported by GETF on this page, where we highlight the innovative initiatives funded through our various windows. These projects focus on advancing clean energy and fuel-efficient solutions, contributing to sustainable development in Malawi.

GETF provides matching grants and on-demand technical assistance to projects that invest in alternative energy sources and fuel-efficient solutions tailored to urban and peri-urban households. These initiatives are designed to be affordable, accessible, and acceptable, with a strong emphasis on creating positive social and environmental impacts.

Lead applicants and their collaborators must propose projects that embrace the Triple-A Paradigm: Affordability, Accessibility, and Acceptability, while tackling challenges related to marketing, distribution, and adoption. By addressing these key areas, the funded projects aim to improve energy access and support long-term benefits for communities in Malawi.
