E-Nyasa Solar and Gas Limited

E-Nyasa Solar and Gas Limited

E Nyasa Solar and Gas Limited was established in 2019 to provide high-quality renewable energy products and services to individuals and organisations in Malawi. They are experts in installing solar systems, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and electrical fields for residential, commercial and industrial purposes.

Since its establishment, the Blantyre-based company has increased its capacity to power society, taking part in several projects for the upkeep of power plants as well as renewable energy (PV Solar Plant and LPG).

With funding from the Green Economic Transition Facility (GETF), E Nyasa intends to establish the initial distribution, infrastructure, including setting up refill stations, storage facilities, transportation and logistics.

It will focus on underdeveloped communities which have limited access to clean cooking fuel and collaborate with the communities’ retail establishments, petrol stations and communities.

Further, it will conduct marketing and awareness campaign to educate customers about the benefits of LPG gas and the importance of transitioning to cleaner energy sources. To promote the use of sustainable energy alternatives, E Nyasa will offer LPG gas and cylinders at competitive and reasonable prices, without sacrificing quality or safety.

It will also invest in training programmes to ensure safe handling and usage of LPG gas among end-users, promoting a culture of safety and awareness.

E Nyasa anticipates that this investment in clean cooking solutions will help reduce reliance on fossil fuels and promote the use of clean energy, leading to improved air quality and reduce carbon emissions.

Further, it hopes that the availability of affordable and accessible LPG gas will improve living conditions, particularly in underserved communities, while creating employment opportunities throughout the distribution network.

It will engage community organisations, women’s groups, local businesses and other stakeholders to establish strong partnerships to enable people purchase LPG cylinders on credit basis.

By alleviating the burden of traditional cooking practices, the clean cooking grant will promote gender equality by creating opportunities for women to engage in income generating activities and education
